Introduction

NERDA Tuzla is a non-governmental and non-profit development association with the main task of creating a more favorable environment for development of entrepreneurship and thus ensuring job creation. The association was established as a result of a need to have such an association that would serve as an instrument for qualitative monitoring and coordination of the Tuzla Canton Development Strategy.

Objectives

The main objective of NERDA Tuzla is to provide support and coordinatethe implementation of the Regional Development Strategy.

Vision

The vision of NERDA Tuzla is for Tuzla Canton and the region to becomea modern, Europe-oriented region with a development philosophy basedon employment, developed entrepreneurial, public and social sector,effective administration, equal opportunities for all categories ofpopulation in the community, with high living standards at alllevels of community.
Creating a qualitative information base will ensure preconditionsfor the development philosophy.

Project Purpose

The purpose of the Project is to ensure that strategic information are qualitatively utilized in development processes in Tuzla Canton, namely in priority projects as stated in the Action Plan of Development Strategy, as well as the analysis of data per specific requests by users.

The quality of any decision depends on the quality of information as the basis for decision-making processes.

Mission of the INFO CENTER

INFO CENTER is an organizational unit of the NERDA Tuzla and its main mission is to serve as:

a reliable source of business-related information in Tuzla Canton
an institution open to all business communities and individuals that wish to obtain market economy-related information for Tuzla Canton, BiH and other countries.

The application was created for the purpose of INFO CENTER and it enables collection of information related to businesses as well as continuous updating of data so as to ensure qualitative management of development processes.

INFO CENTER Project Concept

Deriving from the Tuzla Canton Development Strategy, the strategicobjective of this project is to increase employment rate and improvebusiness environment. The general objective is to efficiently managedevelopment processes, while the specific objective of the projectis to ensure qualitative and structured collection, processing,analysis and usage of data and information making sure that allcitizens and stakeholders in development processes participatein decision-making processes.
