MUNICIPALITY OF DONJI ŽABAR

History
The municipality of Donji Žabar was formed in 1993 from the part of the pre-war municipality of Orašje. Over the period 1993-2004, the name of the municipality was Srpsko Orašje, and in 2004 it was changed to Donji Žabar.

Geographical Position  [Top]
Northeastern part of the Posavina plain, bounded by the municipalities of Šamac and Pelagićevo (RS), Orašje (FBiH) and Brčko District of BiH. The Municipality Donji Žabar covers the area of 49 km².

Infrastructure  [Top]
Developed road infrastructure, good telecommunication lines, poor electricity infrastructure; there is no public potable water and sewage system.

Investment locations are located mostly along the main road.
