NERDA is currently implementing the following projects:

Competitive Regional Economic Development in Herzegovina – CREDO Herzegovina

The project is funded by Swedish Agency for International Development and Cooperation “Sida”. The project is implemented by REDAH (Development Agency for Herzegovina Region) and NERDA is their supporting partner (given the experience of the CREDO North-East BiH Project).

CREDO Herzegovina overall objective is to increase competitiveness and growth of SMEs in the selected sectors in the Herzegovina region through three-phase interventions, based on the Methodology developed through CREDO Project implemented by NERDA in North-East BiH.

CREDO Herzegovina project aims to support creation of at least 50 new jobs and to formalize and/or sustain at least 150 jobs in companies and sectors included in CREDO Herzegovina interventions.

Project TransGrowth – SEENET Program

During the 2011-2012 period NERDA is one of the partners in the TransGrowth project (SEENET Program). The objective of the project is business promotion for trans-national growth of integrated local production systems. Institutional partners in the project were Regions of Emilia-Romagna, Marche and Veneto in Italy, Counties of Osijek – Baranja and Vukovar – Srijem in Croatia, Autonomous Province of Vojvodina in Serbia, and Tuzla Canton in BiH.

Regional Guarantee Fund

The findings generated through economic analysis of the SME Sector indicated that enterprises are faced with serious obstacles is access to affordable medium and long term finance. Therefore NERDA established a Guarantee Fund for Small and Medium Enterprises, which became operational in March 2008.

In partnership with Volksbank BH, Tuzla Development Association NERDA ensured a very attractive interest rate for SMEs which is 6.99 %, while the multiplying factor for the deposited funds is 3.0. The total deposited funds are in the amount of 848.250 KM, while the available potential amounts to 2.544.750 KM.
