Process of creation of regional strategy that was organized through EURED Project started and continued as a process bottom up process through establishing of working and partner groups as leaders of the process and decisions-makers on development orientations and areas of intervention.

The Strategy paper was finalized by the end of 2004 and NERDA was promoted as the Agency in charge of coordination of the Strategy implementation.

Following the launch of the Regional Strategy, NERDA has been actively involved in its promotion and has had roundtable discussions with representatives of foreign embassies, cantonal ministries, municipalities, universities, international organizations and programs & business organizations.

Activities related to support of the implementation of Regional Development Strategy have been carried out continuously by the entire NERDA staff. First and foremost, NERDA has put a lot of effort into making sure that all relevant stakeholders of regional economic development are introduced to the Strategy and that they recognize the role of NERDA. NERDA has provided support to development initiatives throughout the NE BiH economic region through a series of consultations, round tables and bilateral meetings.
